shingles, windows, and stairs, oh my!

Here are a few shots before windows...outside and in
Mady's room - what a view!

Ellen's room

looking out the front door towards the garage

looking at the kitchen and hall to the garage - to the right going down the hall,
is basement stairs,
laundry room and bathroom

look at those shingles! no more leaky roof!

WINDOWS! you should have seen how big those boxes were...

STAIRS! to the basement from the garage

upstairs looking down
going up!

in the past two years, these girls have moved to a new state from their home town.
they will also have moved from their first new house in an unfamiliar place
to second new home in another new place in about that same amount of time.
they have met new people and blended into a new school system
where they knew no one. now there is a multitude of friends.
they have had tremendous patience and good attitudes.
~ living in houses that are on the market means
cleaning whenever Mom needs help; and packing,
sorting, and moving is tough.
they are definitely strong young women. and they're happy!

  1. Sarah - this is so awesome. I haven't checked it out for a few weeks - since before I saw you in LZ. Keep the photos coming!

In regards to Mady and Ellen...... they are beautiful girls - inside and out and tell them that I said so. The are adaptable because you have raised them that way. They wouldn't be able to adjust so well if it wasn't for their strong beautiful MOM!

    I love you all!
